A vital piece of the RWD puzzle is a top quality set of extractors.
We tracked down the manufacturer that designed and built these for Toyota Racing Development back in the day, turns out they still had the jig to whip them up. The quality of material and welds is terrific and these flow just as well as they did in the late 80s.
A few years ago, they altered the design to make these compatible with 16v and 20v 4AGE so they're completely universal.

- These headers were designed with the JDM T50 gearbox in mind and you may run in to clearance issues to your clutch slave cylinder (as you would with nearly all RWD extractors). Ben had a fabricator heat his up, bend them out and fit a little bracket from the flange to the bellhousing and voilà, clearance is fine. There are also options to fit a JDM slave cylinder and a banjo clutch line etc to have them fitted up without modifying the headers.
- The coating is satisfactory however after many heat cycles it will begin to discolor and they can be easily scratched, Ben runs his as is, however having these ceramic coated or wrapped would be ideal but not necessary.
- It should be noted that these headers are a generic fit for all 4-AG motors. If being used on a 20v head some material may need to be removed from the edge of the flange to clear the side water outlet.
